Summary: NMSU is over 72 hours past the deadline to propose meeting times to begin bargaining on wages.
The bargaining season has officially begun! On the Wednesday before break at 2pm, despite aggressive presence by NMSU PD and attempts by Justin Banister (Pres. Ferme’s chief of staff) to deny us entry to the office of the president, we delivered intent to bargain to NMSU.We requested that NMSU respond with proposed meeting times to begin bargaining by end of business Friday March 20th (nearly a week and a half after we delivered intent to bargain). NMSU has so far failed to respond.The administrators we addressed our intent to bargain to get paid over one million dollars annually based on public records. Despite this, and despite employing multiple administrative assistants each, they were unable to find the time in their schedules to respond to an email.
